Kristie Smeltzer

Kristie Smeltzer is a writer, editor, writing coach, and teacher. She's currently working on several novels in addition to short fiction. 

 

Her fiction has been published by Scribes*MICRO*Fiction, MonkeyBicycle, Atticus Review, pioneertown, 101 Words, The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, Apeiron Review, and others. She also writes a monthly newspaper column, "Tried It in C'ville," for C-ville Weekly. 

 

Kristie earned her MFA in creative writing at the University of Central Florida. She resides in Charlottesville, Virginia, and teaches for WriterHouse, Common House, and the Blue Ridge Writers. She's a proud cat mom of the incomparable Maisy Mae, a beloved furry companion and occasional editor.
